What we build

Custom interiors, end to end

Work in-house or through our managed vendor network — either way, Saxton owns the outcome.

Custom seat upholstery

Leather, Ultraleather, and sheepskin re-dye and re-cover for GA singles and twins — seat shells, sidewalls, and armrests finished to OEM or better.

Carpets, sidewalls & headliners

Cut-and-sewn wool and synthetic carpets, acoustic sidewall panels, and headliners with new insulation and sound-damping while the interior is out.

Interior vendor management

We specify the scope, source and vet the shop, and manage schedule and quality so you get one accountable point of contact — not three vendors blaming each other.

FAA compliance assurance

Every material and installation is matched to Part 23 requirements. Nothing goes back in the airplane without the paperwork that proves it belongs there.

Compliance is the point

FAA requirements, handled by us

A beautiful interior without the paperwork is a grounded airplane. Every Saxton interior ships with its compliance package complete.

14 CFR 23.853 burn certification

Flammability testing and material certification for every seat, carpet, and panel installed — the item A&Ps and owners most often get caught on.

Weight & balance update

Revised weight & balance and equipment list reflecting interior changes, computed and delivered with the job.

Logbook entries & Form 337 where required

Airworthy logbook endorsements and a 337 package for major alterations, reviewed with your A&P / IA before sign-off.

Material traceability file

A permanent record of lot numbers, certificates, and installer data — ready for pre-buy inspections and future resale.

How it works

From walkaround to airworthy paperwork

  1. Step 1

    Consultation

Walk the aircraft, define the mission (family hauler, charter, training), and set the materials palette and budget envelope.

  2. Step 2

    Specification

Written scope: materials, panels, colors, sound-damping, and the compliance deliverables required — quoted against vetted shops or done in-house.

  3. Step 3

    Build & manage

Scheduled teardown, install oversight, and quality checks at each stage — you get photo updates, not surprises.

  4. Step 4

    Compliance & handover

Burn certs, weight & balance, and logbook documentation delivered as a bound package before the airplane leaves.

Delivered with every job

  • 14 CFR 23.853 flammability / burn certificates
  • Updated weight & balance and equipment list
  • Logbook entry by A&P / IA, Form 337 if major alteration
  • Material traceability and installer records
